We are looking for a person to join our research team as a Research Project Manager. The job involves the coordination and management of European research projects in the field of social sciences in which Hidra already participates, as well as searching for new calls for proposals and preparing competitive proposals with different academic and social entities. Currently, we work in projects on the right to housing, the promotion and management of common goods, alternatives to extractivism, and the ecological transition.

Definition of tasks:
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of ongoing European research projects (60%):
- Monitoring and complying with the requirements and criteria of each call
- Establishment of internal communication channels
- Setting up protocols with research partners
- Coordination of meetings and seminars, both online and face-to-face
- Support to working groups and the general activity of partners (organization of events, trainings, seminars and others)
- Keeping a recordd of key activities (minutes, presentations, etc)
- Writing reports
- Evaluation and production of feedback regarding the content of the research proposals
- Ensuring adequacy to the scientific aims of the project
- Support in the scientific-technical justification by the EU and the State Research Agency
- Searching new calls of interest within the Horizon Europe framework and support in the preparation of new projects (40% of the day):
- Detect calls where Hydra’s work lines can fit
- Design consortia and articulate with potential partners
- Identify the requirements in the bases of the call and completion of the procedures
- Prepare written proposals
Requirements for the position:
- Proficient level of English
- Experience with research calls (applications, reports)
- Experience in research projects
- Writing skills

What we offer:
- Contract of 37.5 hours a week (the work will be mostly face-to-face)
- Annual gross salary of €27,094.80 (cost for the cooperative: €35,602.57)
- Contract of 3 years, with the possibility of joining Hidra as a partner of the cooperative
- Starting date: Immediate
